Report on the distribution of godly and humanitarian aid from Baba Mazari World Charity Fund from Australia for the earthquake victims in Herat

As a result of the consecutive earthquakes that have been continuing in Herat Province, Afghanistan for more than twenty days, thousands of people have been killed and injured, and thousands of houses have been destroyed or seriously damaged. The number of casualties and human injuries is very high and the amount of damage caused by the earthquake is very large and widespread.

Baba Mazari World Charity Fund, which has been and continues to be a helper and helper of the oppressed people of Afghanistan in all their difficulties and problems, this time again sent 14,000 Australian dollars (equivalent to 644,000 Afghanis) to the earthquake victims. The survey team of the Fund’s representative in Afghanistan was stationed in Herat on 2023-10-23 and directly and in person visited the affected areas and, while conveying greetings and expressing sympathy to the compatriots living in Australia, especially the members of the Fund’s leadership, distributed the aid sent on Friday, 2023-10-27, fairly, directly and immediately to the deserving and deprived victims themselves. The team took the following steps to distribute aid fairly, accurately and comprehensively:

1- Collecting lists, reports and statistics of the dead, injured and affected areas from various addresses and teams that had worked in this field, as well as using their experiences;

2- Direct and in-person visits by the Fund’s representative team to various affected areas and preparing a more accurate and comprehensive video report with the cooperation of several local, honest and people-friendly people;

3- Preparing a final list for distributing aid to one hundred families, taking into account justice, priorities and deprivations;

4- The Fund’s aid was provided in cash, in the amount of 6,000 Afghanis per family, directly and without any intermediaries to the deserving families themselves;

5- This aid was given to those who had first suffered very serious damage and losses; Secondly, they had not benefited or had benefited the least from the previous aid distributions carried out by the government and institutions; thirdly, they were in the worst living conditions in terms of the economic situation.

6- This aid was distributed to four different and severely affected areas such as Khajeh Sarbar, Riceshak, Ahmadi Town, and Nowabad Noghreh.

7- In addition to the detailed list of aid recipients, along with their fingerprints and signatures, there is also a complete video and image document, which, in order to respect the human dignity of the recipients, is only available to the fund’s leadership team and will not be published on social media.
