Martyred Policemen in Jaghori
According to 8 Sobh newspaper in Kabul, on 25 February 2019, NATO and Afghan air force conducted a joint airstrike ‘with wrong coordinates’ in Jaghori province in Afghanistan that resulted in killing of 8 and injury of 4 local resistance force. They were members of the local police force that were deployed to protect the civilians against the Taliban and were from economically-disadvantaged families.
To assist the martyred forces’ families, World Baba Mazari Charity started a campaign and raised six thousand dollars (6000.00 AUD) and provided each of the families with thirty-two thousand Afghanis on 11 March 2019.
